People who call me often face a real sense of urgency. I respect that and will look for ways to get started quickly without lengthy negotiations. I certainly don't want to put lawyers or contracts in the way of your immediate requirements.

One of the main outcomes of our first call will be agreement on next steps. For clients near the Toronto area, it's is easy for us to get together in person if you decide that makes sense. For other clients a trip might be needed. Often I ask for some technical or reference material to help me get up to speed quickly.
